A welcome message
Believers everywhere, from every church background, look for words from Scripture that help them and give them hope and guidance in daily life. Indeed, our deep understanding of God’s Word flows from recognizing that it comes from the mind of God Himself. Scripture says: “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
We deeply value the efforts of our fathers and mothers in the faith, who preserved the purity of the biblical text through the ages. The church and monastic traditions of the ancient churches worked diligently to protect and interpret God’s Word.
We therefore regard these brothers and sisters throughout history as our companions and partners on the journey. Thanks to what they gave, we can read the Bible today in our own languages and understand its message.
At PTEE, we aim to help church members deepen their understanding of the Bible. Like the ancient churches, we believe that Christ is the center of Scripture.
Together with believers in every age, we seek to proclaim Christ, and we humbly seek to apply what we learn in our daily lives, in our homes and communities. Whether you are a student, a facilitator, or a friend of the program, you are part of this blessed tradition of shared biblical learning.
We hope your time of study with us will be full of growth in knowing God and understanding His will for what He wants to do in the world through you and through believers everywhere.

Professional profile
The manual states that Rev. Dr. Victor Sadek became Executive Director in December 2019, after more than twenty-five years of pastoral ministry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry, and a master’s and doctorate in theology. He served as pastor of the Evangelical Church of the German Mission (EMO) in Aswan, chaired PTEE’s Egyptian national committee, and worked as a teacher for more than ten years.
